Dizraeli

Cate Ferris

Vocals, flute

The voice, the voice...
Cate's unmatched singing voice, enormous heart and unerring ear for harmonies make her Joy to play with. As well as her work with the Small Gods and extensive touring with English folk legend Martha Tilston, Cate writes and records under her own name as a solo singer/songwriter. Check out here new video below - it's lush:

Bellatrix

Beatbox, double bass

Belle is the World Female Beatbox Champion and also a Guildhall-trained bassist. Um. Can I be in a band with you please? She's also blessed with the filthiest sense of humour this side of Paraguay, and is part of the Boxettes, who you've probably heard of. They're an all-female beatbox and accapella singing group, and they will knock both your socks off. Find the Boxettes here.

Lee Westwood

Steel strung guitar, vocals

Lee coaxes lullabies out of his guitar that move humans to tears. He's the best guitarist I've ever met, and has written and recorded several albums for guitar, flute and string quartet. He's properly dope. Follow him home here.

Jules Arthur

Viola, keys, vocals

Jules is made of chaos. A classically trained pianist and viola player and dedicated to making everything as wonky as possible, Jules also co-runs the brilliant, sprawling Beatabet collective, which you should look at and listen to.

DJ Downlow

Turntables

I've seen a lot of live bands that incorporate turntables by giving the DJ an 8-bar scratch solo every few tunes, in which the bloke fannies around with the words "yeah" and "fresh" and then falls off the music without a bow. Downlow is a DJ of a completely different calibre - the other day I found him spending hours recording the inside of a piano so he could scratch with the sample. His decks are an instrument, and our sound wouldn't be the same without him. He's completing a masters in sound design at the National Film and Television School, and is a 2x UK DMC Finalist. This year his scratch crew, Invincible Armour, has been selected to represent the UK in the DMC World Team Finals. Bo. Have a more of a look at his talent-cheeks here.

Paul Gregory

Drums

Paul is made of champion gospel loaves. He hides very big secrets behind his grin. He also understands rhythm like nobody else I know, and holds a groove down ridiculously hard. Couldn't really ask for more than Paul, from a drummer.
