Dizraeli

Rapper, singer, poet, person: the half-daft missionary who forced folk to marry hiphop.

His elastic, unhinged flows run through the supermarkets, love, tenements and rain of Engurland with a sidelong smile and a twist of phrase.

Dizraeli has won the BBC Radio 4 Poetry Slam and the Farrago UK Slam Championships. He's written several hiphop plays, including the award-winningThe Rebel Cell with Canadian nutbag Baba Brinkman.

OTHER PROJECTS:

White Man (Moves)

White Man (Moves) is part 1 of a two-album series. It's a collaboration between Dizraeli and UK production legend Tom Caruana, and as well as being a collection of dope hiphop songs, is a travel documentary and satire on the worst of Western backpackers. White Man (Moves) will be released on the 15th of March, 2012.

The first single from White Man (Moves) will be released on February 15th. It's called People Taking Pictures, and it's a slab of fast-paced, dirty hiphop which swaggers onto the dance floor dripping with Bollywood.

UnPlaned

UnPlaned is part 2 of the series. A collection of tracks both instrumental and vocal, all written and performed by Dizraeli, it will be released in tandem with a short film by Billy Macrae. Both the film and the album tell the story of an overland trip from London to Cairo and back, and it's a true story.

UnPlaned will be released in the summer of 2012.

Spoken Word.

Dizraeli has performed solo spoken word shows all over the world, from Inverness to Zimbabwe. The words stripped bare.

Dizraeli, Downlow and Wireless.

Alongside DJ Downlow (the Small Gods' scratch leg end) and beatbox firestarter Wireless. Beats, rhymes and feelings with skills to make you drop your jaw and your trousers.

Smaller Gods

The Small Gods sound taken to a quieter place - haunted harmonies and raw words underscored by steel guitar and viola.

Education

Dizraeli has years of experience working in education places from young offenders' institutions to primary schools. He's written two plays for young people and given countless workshops for the yoot dem.
